History

Story Behind the Spares Max

We opened our first small-scale retail store in Mogoditshane, Botswana in 2006, with five employees. Our stocks were then limited to specific vehicle spare parts, but over time, the range of spare parts expanded in response to market demand. Our workforce eventually grew to twelve people. In 2014, we opened our second branch in Broadhurst, Botswana to meet the demand on the other side of the city as well as to accommodate increased customer demand. After four years of operating the second branch, customer demand and requests compelled us to open the third branch in Gaborone West, Botswana in 2018.

In 2022 September we opened our distribution center as a retail outlet in Mogoditshane, Botswana. In the same year December, we opened our first international branch in Maseru, Lesotho in Southern Africa. In July 2023, we opened another branch in Francistown, Botswana. Finally, in 2024, we opened our seventh branch in Nairobi, Kenya, with the goal of expanding into the Eastern African market for motor vehicle parts. We take pride in being able to serve both retail and wholesale customers at all of our branches.
